Custom polycarbonate mesh lids for 3 Cobalt Aquatics models: C-Vue 26 Gal, C-Vue 40 Gal, C-Vue 45 Gal. Each lid is CNC-cut to the model's outer glass size from 3/8″ clear, shatterproof polycarbonate, with a mesh window for optimal gas exchange and light penetration, and a lip that sits inside the glass so it cannot slide. Each one works as a screen top and jump guard: fish stay in the tank while light and air pass through. These are all-in-one tanks, so the lid covers the display area and stops at the filter chamber wall. Add a feeding hole with a black or white cap, cutouts for hoses and wires, a feeding cup or a removable evaporation cover in the configurator, approve a digital proof, and it ships free to the contiguous US within about a week. The Cobalt C-Vue is a rimless all-in-one with the filter chamber across the back, and our lid is cut for that layout: it covers the display glass and ends at the chamber wall, so the stock chamber cover, return pump and media stay reachable. All three sizes — C-Vue 26, 40 and 45 — are single-panel lids.
C-Vue tanks are popular for nano reefs and mixed fish setups where a lid is the difference between keeping a wrasse and losing one. The mesh window keeps air moving and light in; the clear 3/8-inch polycarbonate frame is almost invisible on the low-iron glass. Add a feeding hole and a cutout for the powerhead cord in the configurator.

Cobalt Aquatics Lid Questions
- Does the C-Vue lid cover the rear filter chamber?
- No. It covers the display area and stops at the filter wall so the factory chamber cover stays in place. For a lid over the whole footprint, use the custom builder with the outer dimensions.
- Is the C-Vue 45 lid bigger than the C-Vue 40?
- They are different footprints — the 45 is longer and shallower, the 40 is deeper — so each has its own template. Choose the model that matches yours; both are single-panel lids.
- Will the lid interfere with the C-Vue's built-in light?
- If your C-Vue came with a light that spans the glass, add a cutout for its mounting feet in the configurator. Arm-mounted lights that clamp the rim clear the lid with no changes.
