This lid is CNC-cut from 3/8″ clear polycarbonate to the outside size of the Waterbox Cube 20's glass, with a lip that sits inside the glass so it cannot slide and a mesh window in the middle for optimal gas exchange and light penetration. It works as a screen top and jump guard: fish and invertebrates stay in the tank while light and air pass through. The Cube 20 is an all-in-one tank, so the lid covers the display area and stops at the filter chamber wall.
Add a feeding hole with a black or white cap, cutouts for hoses, wires and light mounts, a feeding cup or a removable evaporation cover in the configurator above. You approve a digital proof before anything is cut, and the lid ships free to the contiguous US, usually within a week. If it doesn't fit because of our error, we remake it at no charge.
The Cube 20 is Waterbox's most popular all-in-one, and the lid is the piece that keeps the wrasse, firefish or clownfish most people put in it where it belongs. The lid is cut to the display section and ends at the rear filter wall, so the factory chamber lids, return pump and media basket stay exactly as they are.
It sits on a lip inside the glass and the mesh window passes the light from an AI Prime, Kessil or Hydra mounted on the back glass. The feeding hole can go at either front corner; a cutout clears a hang-on ATO or a cord that drops into the display.

- Does the Cube 20 lid cover the back filter chamber?
- No. It covers the display area and ends at the filter wall, leaving the factory chamber lids in place. If you want the chamber covered too, build a custom lid with the tank's full outside dimensions.
- Will the Cube 20 lid clear my light mount?
- Yes in most setups. The lid sits inside the glass, below the rim where arm mounts clamp. If a bracket crosses the glass, add a cutout in the configurator and it shows on the proof.
- Is the Waterbox Cube 20 lid one piece?
- Yes. The Cube 20 lid is a single panel of 3/8-inch clear polycarbonate with a mesh window, so it lifts off in one piece.
- Does the lid come with a feeding hole?
- A capped feeding hole is an option in the configurator: choose a black or white cap and drag the hole to the corner you feed from. A feeding cup that holds food at the surface and a removable evaporation cover over the mesh are optional too.
- Will the lid work with my light?
