This lid is CNC-cut from 3/8″ clear polycarbonate to the outside size of the Red Sea MAX NANO G2 Peninsula's glass, with a lip that sits inside the glass so it cannot slide and a mesh window in the middle for optimal gas exchange and light penetration. It works as a screen top and jump guard: fish and invertebrates stay in the tank while light and air pass through. The MAX NANO G2 Peninsula is an all-in-one tank, so the lid covers the display area and stops at the filter chamber wall.

Add a feeding hole with a black or white cap, cutouts for hoses, wires and light mounts, a feeding cup or a removable evaporation cover in the configurator above. You approve a digital proof before anything is cut, and the lid ships free to the contiguous US, usually within a week. If it doesn't fit because of our error, we remake it at no charge.

The Max Nano G2 Peninsula moves the filtration to the short end so the tank is viewed from three sides, and the lid is shaped for it: it covers the display and stops at the chamber wall on the end, leaving the chamber cover, skimmer and return in place. The lip sits inside the glass.

You choose which corner the feeding hole goes in when you configure the lid, so it ends up on the side you feed from, and the mesh window passes the ReefLED's light.

Red Sea MAX NANO G2 Peninsula Lid Questions

Is the Peninsula lid the same as the Max Nano G2 Cube lid?
No. The Peninsula's chamber is on the end rather than the back, so the lid is a different shape with its own template.
Is the Red Sea MAX NANO G2 Peninsula lid one piece?
Yes. The MAX NANO G2 Peninsula lid is a single panel of 3/8-inch clear polycarbonate with a mesh window, so it lifts off in one piece.
Does the lid come with a feeding hole?
A capped feeding hole is an option in the configurator: choose a black or white cap and drag the hole to the corner you feed from. A feeding cup that holds food at the surface and a removable evaporation cover over the mesh are optional too.
Will the lid work with my light?
In most setups, yes. The lid sits inside the glass below the rim, where arm mounts and clip-on lights attach, and the mesh window passes the light. If a bracket, a hang-on filter or a cord crosses the glass, add a cutout for it in the configurator and it shows on your proof before we cut.
How long does a Red Sea MAX NANO G2 Peninsula lid take?
You approve a digital proof first; the lid is then cut and ships free to the contiguous US, usually within a week of approval.
What if the Red Sea MAX NANO G2 Peninsula lid does not fit?
Every catalog lid is guaranteed to fit the model it is listed for. If it does not fit because of our error, we remake it at no charge.
