Innovative Marine Lids & Covers
Custom polycarbonate mesh lids for 18 Innovative Marine models: EXT 100, EXT 30 Long, EXT 50 Lagoon, EXT 75 and 14 more. Each lid is CNC-cut to the model's outer glass size from 3/8″ clear, shatterproof polycarbonate, with a mesh window for optimal gas exchange and light penetration, and a lip that sits inside the glass so it cannot slide. Each one works as a screen top and jump guard: fish stay in the tank while light and air pass through. 14 of these are all-in-one tanks, so the lid covers the display area and stops at the filter chamber wall. 9 lids are longer than 33 in and are cut as two panels that butt together at a seam. Add a feeding hole with a black or white cap, cutouts for hoses and wires, a feeding cup or a removable evaporation cover in the configurator, approve a digital proof, and it ships free to the contiguous US within about a week. Innovative Marine's Nuvo Fusion line is the standard all-in-one nano reef, and we have a template for every size — Fusion 10, 14 Peninsula, 15 Cube, 20, 20 Long, 20 Peninsula, 25 Lagoon, 30L, 40, 40L and 50 Lagoon — plus the SR 60, 80 and 120 and the rimless EXT 30 Long, 50 Lagoon, 75 and 100. Each lid is cut to that model's display opening so you order by name rather than by tape measure.
On the Fusion and SR all-in-ones the lid covers the display glass and stops at the rear filter chamber, leaving IM's chamber lids, skimmer and return where they are. The EXT tanks are rimless with an external overflow, so the lid covers the display and clears the overflow. Fusion 10 through 25 and the Fusion 40 are single panels; the 30L, 40L, SR series and EXT 30/50/75 are two panels, and the EXT 100 is three. Every lid is cut to its model's exact size from 3/8″ polycarbonate, a shatterproof plastic far tougher than glass or acrylic. Prices are for the lid alone; feeding holes, cutouts, cups and covers are added in the configurator.

Innovative Marine Lid Questions
- Does the Nuvo Fusion lid cover the back filter chamber?
- No. The lid covers the display area and ends at the filter wall, so the stock chamber lids, media basket and return stay accessible.
- Is the Fusion 20 lid different from the Fusion 20 Long and 20 Peninsula?
- Yes — three different footprints, three templates. The 20 is the cube-ish tank, the 20 Long is wider and shallower, and the 20 Peninsula has the chamber on the short end.
- How does the lid compare with the stock IM mesh screen?
- The factory screen is a thin frame that sits on the rim. Our lid is 3/8-inch polycarbonate with a lip inside the glass, so it does not sag or slide, has a feeding hole and cutouts placed where you want them, and can be lifted in one piece.
- Does the EXT lid cover the overflow box?
- No. On the EXT 30, 50, 75 and 100 the lid stops at the overflow wall so the drains and return stay open.
