This lid is CNC-cut from 3/8″ clear polycarbonate to the outside size of the Waterbox Clear Mini 16's glass, with a lip that sits inside the glass so it cannot slide and a mesh window in the middle for optimal gas exchange and light penetration. It works as a screen top and jump guard: fish and invertebrates stay in the tank while light and air pass through.
Add a feeding hole with a black or white cap, cutouts for hoses, wires and light mounts, a feeding cup or a removable evaporation cover in the configurator above. You approve a digital proof before anything is cut, and the lid ships free to the contiguous US, usually within a week. If it doesn't fit because of our error, we remake it at no charge.
The Clear Mini 16 is a plain rimless tank with no filter chamber, so the lid covers the whole top and sits on a lip inside the glass. Nothing hangs over the polished edge and the clear frame keeps the rimless look; the mesh window passes the light from a slim planted-tank or nano reef LED.
Clear Minis are usually run with a hang-on filter or a canister, so add a cutout at the back for the intake and return and one for the heater cord. Each cutout shows on the proof before anything is cut.
