Fluval Lids & Covers
Custom polycarbonate mesh lids for 9 Fluval models: EVO 13.5 (13.5 Gallon Saltwater), EVO 5 (5 Gallon Saltwater), Flex 15, Flex 9 and 5 more. Each lid is CNC-cut to the model's outer glass size from 3/8″ clear, shatterproof polycarbonate, with a mesh window for optimal gas exchange and light penetration, and a lip that sits inside the glass so it cannot slide. Each one works as a screen top and jump guard: fish stay in the tank while light and air pass through. 5 of these are all-in-one tanks, so the lid covers the display area and stops at the filter chamber wall. Add a feeding hole with a black or white cap, cutouts for hoses and wires, a feeding cup or a removable evaporation cover in the configurator, approve a digital proof, and it ships free to the contiguous US within about a week. The Fluval Evo 13.5 is probably the most common nano reef in the country, and a mesh lid is the first thing most owners add once a clownfish or goby finds the gap next to the return. Our Fluval lids cover the Evo 5 and 13.5, the Flex 9 and 15, the Spec 16, the Flora and the Visi-White 45P, 60P and 90P. Every one is a single-panel lid.
On the all-in-one tanks (Evo, Flex, Spec) the lid covers the display glass and stops at the rear filter wall, so the stock chamber lids, pump and the Evo's hinged light stay as they are. On the rimless Flora and Visi-White the lid covers the full top. All are 3/8-inch clear polycarbonate with a mesh window; the feeding hole can go wherever you feed. Every lid is cut to its model's exact size from 3/8″ polycarbonate, a shatterproof plastic far tougher than glass or acrylic. Prices are for the lid alone; feeding holes, cutouts, cups and covers are added in the configurator.

Fluval Lid Questions
- Does the Evo 13.5 lid work with the stock Fluval light?
- Yes. The lid sits inside the display glass and the stock LED clips to the back wall above it. The Evo light can still be flipped up for feeding.
- Does the Fluval lid cover the back filter chambers?
- No. On the Evo, Flex and Spec the lid covers the display area and ends at the filter wall, so the factory chamber covers stay on.
- Is the Evo 13.5 lid the same as the Evo 5?
- No. They are different footprints with separate templates. Choose the size printed on your tank.
- Will the Flex lid fit the curved front?
- The Flex lid is cut to the top opening, which is straight; the curve is on the front glass below the rim. The lid sits inside the top edge and clears the built-in light.
