This lid is CNC-cut from 3/8″ clear polycarbonate to the outside size of the Fluval Flex 15's glass, with a lip that sits inside the glass so it cannot slide and a mesh window in the middle for optimal gas exchange and light penetration. It works as a screen top and jump guard: fish and invertebrates stay in the tank while light and air pass through. The Flex 15 is an all-in-one tank, so the lid covers the display area and stops at the filter chamber wall.
Add a feeding hole with a black or white cap, cutouts for hoses, wires and light mounts, a feeding cup or a removable evaporation cover in the configurator above. You approve a digital proof before anything is cut, and the lid ships free to the contiguous US, usually within a week. If it doesn't fit because of our error, we remake it at no charge.
Like the Flex 9, the Flex 15 has its curve on the front glass below the rim, so the lid is cut to the straight top opening. It covers the display and stops at the rear filter wall; the chamber covers, pump and heater pocket stay as they are, and the lip inside the glass keeps the lid from sliding.
The Flex 15 is wide enough for a small reef or a planted community, both of which lose fish over the edge without a lid. Add a feeding hole where you feed and a cutout for a hang-on filter or a light arm if yours crosses the glass.

Fluval Flex 15 Lid Questions
- Does the Flex 15 lid work with the stock Flex light?
- The stock light attaches at the back above the rim, and the lid sits inside the glass below it. If your light bracket crosses the glass, add a cutout in the configurator and it shows on the proof.
- Is the Fluval Flex 15 lid one piece?
- Yes. The Flex 15 lid is a single panel of 3/8-inch clear polycarbonate with a mesh window, so it lifts off in one piece.
- Does the lid come with a feeding hole?
- A capped feeding hole is an option in the configurator: choose a black or white cap and drag the hole to the corner you feed from. A feeding cup that holds food at the surface and a removable evaporation cover over the mesh are optional too.
- Will the lid work with my light?
- In most setups, yes. The lid sits inside the glass below the rim, where arm mounts and clip-on lights attach, and the mesh window passes the light. If a bracket, a hang-on filter or a cord crosses the glass, add a cutout for it in the configurator and it shows on your proof before we cut.
- How long does a Fluval Flex 15 lid take?
- You approve a digital proof first; the lid is then cut and ships free to the contiguous US, usually within a week of approval.
- What if the Fluval Flex 15 lid does not fit?
- Every catalog lid is guaranteed to fit the model it is listed for. If it does not fit because of our error, we remake it at no charge.
