This lid is CNC-cut from 3/8″ clear polycarbonate to the outside size of the Fluval EVO 13.5 (13.5 Gallon Saltwater)'s glass, with a lip that sits inside the glass so it cannot slide and a mesh window in the middle for optimal gas exchange and light penetration. It works as a screen top and jump guard: fish and invertebrates stay in the tank while light and air pass through. The EVO 13.5 (13.5 Gallon Saltwater) is an all-in-one tank, so the lid covers the display area and stops at the filter chamber wall.

- No. It covers the display glass and stops at the filter wall, so the stock chamber cover, return pump and media basket are untouched.
- Do I need to remove the Evo 13.5 canopy?
- The mesh lid replaces the hinged canopy on the display section. If you still run the stock LED, it clips to the back glass above the lid as before.
